Cohorts 10-12

We are still awaiting the instruction to allow us to officially start inviting those within this cohort. We are hoping that this will be soon as we are very keen to vaccinate you all. As soon as we get the go ahead, invites will be sent.

Reserve list

Tilehurst Village Surgery continue to hold a reserve list which they utilise with every clinic. If you would like to go on to the reserve list then please email Tilehurst Village Surgery on with your name, date of birth and contact number. Please only ask to be added if you are available to attend the surgery at short notice and within 15 minutes of receiving a phone call. If you email to go on to the reserve list, please presume you have been added – there is no need to request to be added more than once, and you shall remain on the list until you ask to be taken off.

Q. Can I choose what vaccine I am given?

Unfortunately you cannot choose which vaccine you are given. All vaccines are approved by MHRA and we will follow all guidance from the MHRA as to which vaccine should be offered to you. e.g. 16 and 17 year olds should be offered Pfizer, those under 30 years of age should now be offered an alternative to Oxford AZ etc.

As a vaccination hub, Tilehurst Village Surgery also get no say as to what vaccine gets delivered to them. Please be reassured that we will offer you the most appropriate vaccine and we will always be able to give you your second dose of whichever vaccine you had for your first.

If you wish to decline the vaccine, please let us know so we can stop sending you invites.

Thank you all for the support and understanding.
